At the Farmers Market of Wausau we believe that everyone should have access to local food regardless of how they pay. That's why we accept many forms of payment.
Farmers Market Information Booth
The Farmers Market of Wausau has a Farmers Market Information Booth.
At their booth you can swipe your card in exchange for tokens that you can spend on eligible items.
You can swipe your Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) also known as EBT card and receive tokens to spend on SNAP eligible items.
New as of 2026, the market will match your SNAP card swipe up to $20 with tokens to spend on Fruits and Vegetables!
Additionally, you can use your credit/debit card, pay a nominal fee of $2 (which covers our transactions fees) and receive tokens that you can spend with any vendor, on any item.
